On exactly what planet does this pass for a blog entry?

Besides which, I actually own one of these (a different brand), and they are no where near as cool as they might seem. This is way more cute than it is functional, and they mar your papers quite a bit more than the ad copy might have you believe. (Please note that you can't find a picture of the "small neat hole" it supposedly punches -- there's a reason for that.) Furthermore, I'm pretty cool on the description that staples are "tiny pieces of metal that add up to lots of waste". If you're going to list office-related products that accumulate and have the potential for genuine environmental impact, I'm pretty sure that staples aren't a major offender in that regard. You just need to remember to remove them if you're going to recycle the paper they're embedded in.

Now stop with the product plugs and write something, already. Until then, I'll just be marking time until you randomly decide to delete this entry.

Re: the rest - So what.......are you saying that you think I should return the 200 cases that I ordered? I was planning on becoming a Staple Free Society crusader - I would hand out stapleless staplers to everyone I meet until one day, suddenly, there would be no more staple waste in the world and the reign of wasteful/harmful/evil earth clutter would finally be over.
...but I'm thinking that you are trying to recommend against that.
