Pondering Gravity

Do you ever look at the moon, I mean really look at the moon and then think about how odd the whole universe thing is? Tonight, whilst driving home after taking in some Southern Backtones, the moon rocked my a$$ off.

It was SO cool. It was very large and hung low in the northwestern sky. Only a little more than half of it was reflecting the sun and it just made me think. I started thinking about how the Earth must be positioned in relation to the sun and moon to cause it to reflect that way. And then, for a brief second, I started to feel like I was falling. Like maybe I could fall right off of the Earth in my car. Then I started thinking about gravity. What an odd thing, gravity, no? I mean really! It is just so weird that we all adhere to the surface of this big, round, watery rock. We, with all of our large structures, endless manufactured materials and ever-regenerating natural materials and all. Think about airplane crashes...how weird is it that they fall into the Earth instead of away from it when systems malfunction!(?) What is going on? It is so interesting to take a moment to view our entire existence from a forces-of-the-universe view.

Fun!

*Note: I know what you are thinking and no, no hallucinogens or mind altering substances were consumed by me tonight.

What did I tell you about not leaving your drink unattended when you go out?

What is this...some sort of conspiracy???

I'll have you know Missy, that I did NOT leave my water unattended even for 2 seconds the whole night.
Although, we were eating some food that the band ordered but didn't seem to want to eat. Hmmm...::more pondering::

It was regular hummus, pesto hummus, and baba ganoush with pita chips. Good stuff.
