One of Many SxSW Related Blog Entries

Did you know that I am going to SxSW? I am. w00ty!

My list [of bands I want to see] is already getting pretty long and they haven't even officially announced all of the bands that will be included. Right now the ones that I am very excited about are The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Flaming Lips, and Helmet. But there are SO MANY bands to go through. I'm thinking I need to rethink the whole 'going-without-a-wristband' plan. I don't see getting into any of those shows without one (and possibly not even with one). =(
Going through this list is not an easy thing to do at this stage, before they've organized it into days and venues. See for yourself.

Every single time I go through the list I see tons I've new stuff I didn't see 5 minutes earlier when I looked at it. Funness!
If you know of some good shows that are going to be there, please tell me about them! I love recommendations and suggestions.

Umm...ok, that is all for now.
=)

Natalie,

K. First thing you do is go to work on Monday and ask for March 15th, 16th and 17th off. Actually you can just ask for the 16th and the 17th off and not really miss that much or even just go up on Friday after work and do Friday night and Saturday. Last year I went up on Thursday night (only asked for Friday off) and still had THE BEST time.

Next, you drive to Austin on the day you decide to go. You figure the rest out AFTER you get there. =)

Did you check out the bands?? I've got 16 on my list so far and I haven't even really spent any serious time with it.

Come on Natalie! it would be so rad if you could go!!

Eh, I can babble on about this endlessly, so I am cutting myself off now. :)
