Bottom Feeders
Last night, for the first time in 4 years, a man uttered those three wonderful little words to me while staring deeply into my eyes.
"... Have I ever told you how much I love you?"
(okay, 10 words)
Yes, yes, isn't love a wonderful thing ... well actually I wouldn't know. Exactly how pathetic is it that he was a used car salesman? ...and that this was said as part of his negotiation tactics?
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm giving it about a 50.
No, I am not kidding, this really happened. The slime was oozing thickly from his pores; I had to wrap myself in plastic just to be able to talk to him. He also managed to scrounge up a peach colored rose for me before I made him an offer on a car. He didn't like my offer, so I left.
So now I have this lovely event to look forward to all over again. Yay.
You SO want to be me. Why can't we all just ride bicycles?

I've got a bike, you can ride it if you like!
What kind of car are you looking for? New? Used? If you go with a Saturn, there's no sleazy dealings, it's WYSIWYG over there.

Wow. Well, that's just crazy. Perhaps you should rent the movie Used Cars. Maybe that would provide some guidance.
