Causes
I am blogging about two important fund raisers that some of my friends and family members are paticipating in. I'm basically just reposting (with a little paraphrasing) emails that they sent out to get support for their respective causes.
Ride for Kids
My brother and sister-in-law are participating in the Ride for Kids on April 30th. In case you don't know what this is, it's a motorcycle charity that raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. My sister-in-law's cousins (two brothers) were both diagnosed with brain tumors at very young ages. They lost one of them about 13 years ago at the age of 9. His younger brother is still fighting it at the age of 15 after being diagnosed 12 years ago.

Cystic Fibrosis Walk
My friend Devon is participating in a Cystic Fibrosis walk on May 20th. Her friend's best friend suffers from the disease so she wants to support them and other victims.
